Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons ghee or clarified butter
  • 1 cup shredded kataifi pastry (kunafa)
  • 1 cup Baladna Khodari dates (or any premium Baladna variety)
  • 1 cup pistachios

  • 1 small cup orange blossom water

  • Cream for filling

Preparation:

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan and toast the kataifi until golden and fragrant.

  2. Grind the toasted kataifi to a fine texture.

  3. Add the dates, pistachios, and orange blossom water, and mix until a smooth dough forms.

  4. Shape the mixture as desired and fill each piece with cream.

  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
