Ingredients:

  • Baladna sunflower oil
  • Baladna olive oil
  • Baladna Zaatar
  • Baladna dried thyme
  • flour
  • milk
  • yeast
  • salt

Preparation:

Mix the Zaatar of your choice well in a bowl. Mix 4 tablespoons Zaatar with olive oil. Mix flour, salt, yeast, dried mint in a bowl. Add milk and sunflower oil and knead to a smooth dough. Leave the dough to rest in a warm place for one ½ hour. Then divide it into 2 halves. Knead the dough once more and then roll it out thinly. Now spread the dough halves with the Zaartar oil mixture and roll them up. Cut the dough rolls lengthwise, intertwine the two strands and connect them to form a wreath. Bake the plait for 30 minutes.
