  • Baladna Zaatar with sumac
  • Baladna olive oil
  • Baladna sunflower oil
  • flour
  • butter
  • salt
  • sugar
  • yeast
  • water
  • egg

Preparation:

Mix the Zaatar with the olive oil. For the yeast dough mix flour, sugar, yeast, water and salt. Knead the dough until it is smooth and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour. Knead the dough again and form small balls. Roll these small balls into a thin dough and spread with butter. Then lay all the dough circles on top of each other. Now roll these layers into a layer of dough. Now cut out equal triangles. Put some Zaatar oil mixture on each triangle and roll it up from the long side to the top. Brush the surface of the croissants with beaten egg yolk to brown them. Cook in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
